Last year I moved back to Fiji for three months and lived in Earths most beautiful place - Narata Village (Nadrala - Sigatoka)

Like most things in life, it had its ups and downs but most importantly it gave me something only I could look for. ❤️🌴

~ Maintenance Means Maintenance ~

Last week, Donna came into the studio with two week old maintenance (DONE ELSEWHERE) that looked like 6 months worth of un-touched regrowth..

There was no clean partings, no root separation, no loose hair integrated and no structural tightening… that’s not maintenance.

It’s a tidy-up at best.

Dreadlocks are long-term structures. If they’re not maintained properly, you pay for it later in thinning, breakage and rebuilds.

Choose your loctician based on skill — not price, convenience, or who happens to be in town that week.

-Before I shut the doors March 26th for three months, I’d love to create // maintain as many dreadlocks as humanly possible.

-Moreover, my beautiful partner was my first client for this year and it’s safe to say her long and beautiful dreadlocks are back looking 110%.! 🤩

These dreadlocks will be flying back home to Arnhem Land in the near future, and it brings an amazing sense of honour to know that my work will be seen and appreciated on the other side of our beautiful country.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share with all that are reading this, that next year I am moving to Fiji and will be closing Zed’s Dreadz Dreadlock Salon. ✈️ 🇫🇯 ☀️🌴❤️

APRIL 1st will be the day I say farewell to our great country, so in the meantime if you need dreadlock maintenance or want “Zed’s” to create your dreadlocks, you will have between now and MARCH 26th to book in.

Lastly, I have decided that DECEMBER 15th will be Zed’s Dread’z last operating day for 2024.

Something amazing is happening at Zed’s Dread’z at the moment, and it comes in the form of meaningful, positive conversation.

Yesterday, I had one of the single greatest minds and quite possibly human beings walk into Zed’s Dread’z for dreadlock maintenance.
What started out as a meeting between two complete strangers, ended as an enjoyable and meaningful goodbye between friends. ☀️🌴
