I didn't use lace as a stencil, I actually cut the lace to the shape of Natalie's lips, added lip liner and gloss!

My client specifically requested I do what I could to give her a more elongated cat eye look. She has classic round eyes.
She mentioned a previous makeup artist just did a full smokey eye and black liner right around her eyes. This is a classic 'text book' trick used to make the eyes appear smaller. The issue is when you do this with someone who has large eyes with a lot of visible eye ball, it accentuates the whiteness of the eyeball making them appear larger and more round which is the opposite of what she wanted.
With this in mind, I created a thick bat wing liner and used cat eye lashes. I also did a half smokey under eye. And kept the inner corner of her eye light and her lids light as well. This opened up the inner part of her eye and deepened the outer part creating a more almond shape illusion.
Needless to say she was very happy with the final results and received many compliments at the party she attended that evening.
I love how this look turned out!

I am able to offer you many styles of makeup from natural to full glam. I love to use a variety of products and techniques to make your eyes pop, keep your brows looking natural and your skin to have a healthy glow. Of course I can tailor the makeup to suit your specific needs and work with your concerns.
I am also able to offer basic hair styling services including GHD curls, straightening, braids, half-up/half-down styles and simple up-styles. For bookings of 3 or more people wanting hair and makeup I will team up with a separate hairstylist (different prices will occur).
