New ASMR sound, what do you think?

I love the sounds of the jade combs through the hair. They are also cooling with a light scratchy sensation.

After my client's session today, she shared something with me that I wasn't expecting.

What really struck me wasn't just her reaction to the session. It was realising that something I created was able to bring comfort to someone during such an important season of her life.

I've always thought of my work as something that happens in person, in the treatment room. My videos are usually just small glimpses into that experience. So hearing stories like this reminds me that sometimes the impact reaches further than I realise.

For most of my life, I felt small. I never imagined that my little ASMR massage business could make a meaningful difference in someone's life.

Today my beautiful client came in for my Crown of Tranquility experience and shared something that genuinely touched my heart.

While she was pregnant, she would watch my videos to help herself relax.

As many mums know, pregnancy and those early postpartum months can be physically, mentally and emotionally exhausting. Finding even a few moments to yourself can feel impossible.

She also told me that when she was little, her mum used to play with her hair, and she loved it. So when her husband gifted her a voucher to come and experience Crown of Tranquility for herself, she was incredibly excited.

After her session, she told me that even though she'd watched my videos so many times, experiencing it in person was something completely different.

Watching her reaction afterwards was one of those moments that stays with you.

It actually brought tears to my eyes when I thought about it later.

Not because she enjoyed the treatment, although I'm deeply grateful that she did.

But because during a season of life that can be so demanding, so exhausting, and so focused on caring for everyone else, she was finally able to receive some care herself.

This is why I do what I do.

Not for the novelty.

Not for the views.

But for moments like this.

For the woman who hasn't had a chance to switch off in months.

For the woman whose nervous system is carrying more than anyone realises.

For the woman who just needs to feel safe, comforted and cared for, even if only for a little while.
