Aging lines vs Sleep lines

Not all lines are age related, some come from your pillow.

Aging lines are created from repeated muscle contraction over time.

Sleep lines are created from pressure on areas of your face from a pillow night after night. This repeated pressure causes to skin to crease in certain areas, not just the forehead. These lines can form on the forehead, cheeks, around the eyes and lower face.

An increased level of collagen and elastin allow these lines to resolve over the course of the day, but as we age, the loss of collagen and elastin, and repeated pressure on areas of the face, the lines can become more permanent.
