Our client was treated for textural acne scarring using advanced skin needling ( ) combined with a clinical TCA resurfacing peel (Uber MD).

Day 1: Immediate erythema + frosting (a normal protein coagulation response from the TCA)
Day 2: Micro-crusting begins as treated tissue starts to lift
Day 3: Active repair phase — old scarred tissue shedding
Day 5: Healing skin with smoother texture emerging

Those dark dots you see are micro-crusts, not breakouts.
They are tiny columns of treated scar tissue being replaced as the skin renews.

You may also notice the visible pore size appears more refined by Day 5.
This occurs as inflammation settles and early collagen support improves the surrounding skin structure. Acne scarring often leaves the tissue lax, which makes pores look enlarged as the skin repairs and texture smooths, pores can appear tighter and less prominent.
