Celeste starts March 11 — and her first week is already filling.

What is a Myotherapist?

A Myotherapist specialises in treating muscular pain, tension and movement dysfunction. Using advanced hands-on techniques, dry needling and corrective treatment, they help reduce pain, improve mobility and support long-term recovery.

If you’ve been putting up with tight shoulders, lower back pain, headaches or recurring injuries — this is your sign.

Limited first-week appointments remain.

Mikheal Bodyworks Welcomes Celeste, Myotherapist

Expanding this clinic was never a rushed decision.

Mikheal Bodyworks has been built carefully, with a strong focus on hands on, results driven techniques. If I was going to grow, it had to be with someone I fully trust.

I’m proud to welcome Celeste Williams to the team.

Celeste has been practising since 2018 and shares the same philosophy of treating the root cause, not just managing symptoms. She is a registered provider and accepts HICAPS for on the spot health fund claims.

Appointments available Wednesdays, with potential Saturdays based on demand.

Bookings are now open via the link in bio or via www.mikhealbodyworks.com.au

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Step into a sanctuary of healing vibes. 🌿✨🙏

🔍 Let’s delve into the amazing anatomy of the back muscles! 📚 The back is a crucial part of our body, providing stability, support, and flexibility.
Let’s explore each group and understand their roles! 🏋️‍♂️

1️⃣ Superficial Back Muscles:
These are the muscles you can easily see and feel on the surface of your back. 💪

🔸 Trapezius:
This large, kite-shaped muscle extends from the base of the skull down to the mid-back.
It helps control shoulder movements and supports your neck and head.

🔸 Latissimus Dorsi:
Widely known as “lats,” these broad muscles cover the lower and middle back.
They play a significant role in shoulder and arm movements like pulling, lifting, and swimming.

🔸 Rhomboids:
These smaller muscles lie between the shoulder blades and are essential for retracting and stabilizing the scapulae.

2️⃣ Deep Back Muscles:
The deep muscles lie beneath the superficial ones, providing essential support and precision. 💡

🔹 Erector Spinae:
This group runs alongside the spine and consists of three muscles: iliocostalis, longissimus, and spinalis.
They play a vital role in maintaining posture, back extension, and lateral flexion.

🔹 Multifidus:
These small, deep muscles span across individual vertebrae and provide stability and precise movements of the spine.

🔹 Rotatores:
These tiny muscles also run between adjacent vertebrae and assist in rotating and stabilizing the spine.

🔹 Semispinalis:
This muscle group is involved in various movements, including head and neck extension, rotation, and lateral flexion.

🔹 Splenius: These paired muscles extend from the upper back to the neck and are responsible for neck and head extension and rotation.

📚Knowledge is strength, and understanding your body empowers you to achieve your fitness goals! 💪

Behind the scenes sneak peak...

Ever wondered what happens between clients? After the table has been changed, surfaces/equipment has wiped down and stock replenished, I sit down for an 'express' lunch/snack while I recentre myself ready to go again.
