@willhuxley and I are so excited to be presenting a survey exhibition of our work at @fremantleartscentre ‘Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams’. Celebrating ten years of creative lunacy. Whether we are singing Xanadu floating down the Yarra or dressed as inflatable sea creatures shuffling along shorelines. Our deep love for art and creativity is at the core of everything we do. We both studied photographic art many moons ago. It’s how we started our art making before we met. We’ve been creating together for a decade now and it’s expanded into a wild and colourful galaxy of video, costume, performance and song. We like to saturate everything we do with a maximalist philosophy. What makes this extra special is we’re returning to Will’s hometown. Who knew that wearing all that 70’s polyester in the harsh WA sun as a teenager, would be a training ground for a life in unwearable costumes. ‘Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams’ opens on the 8th November. Curated by @petevolich We are also hosting a wild party night called ‘Dance This Mess Around’ Named after our fav B52’s song. It’s the 22nd November at @fremantleartscentre and will be with a host of incredible artists. Massage highlight moment!!! I was lucky enough to work as the massage therapist at the recent Ritual Retreats in Brač this June. First glimpses of some sunshine, and only February! To all my clients who have not heard from me in a while, I thought I would share this gem of a home grown Croatian company.
