Yay!!! I’m so please to share I have been assigned to my first client for this amazing study! It’s a difficult subject often not talked about, but our mothers need our support. If you are currently pregnant or know someone who is currently pregnant after experiencing a loss after 20 weeks please share this post with them. They will receive a minimum of 4 massage treatments to help them through their current pregnancy- reducing stress, anxiety and muscle aches and pains. AND help many others by becoming a participant which will enable more studies to be recognised and conducted throughout Australia. 🙏 let’s help support one another in ways that count.

Western Sydney University is currently evaluating the feasibility of massage as an adjunct approach to care for pregnant women who have experienced a previous pregnancy loss after 20 weeks.

~ TUESDAY TIP ~ In this week’s Tuesday Tip I will show you how to prolong the life of your herbs. Remove the herbs from their packaging and then wet some paper towel (you could also use a face washer or tea towel) under cold water, squeezing excess water out, but you still want it to be wet. Wrap the herbs loosely in the paper towel and then pop them into an airtight container and store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks. You could also keep them in a plastic bag in the crisper section of the fridge. This tip works for all herbs, except for basil, which needs a bit more care and attention. Basil is best stored in a jar on the kitchen bench, with a plastic bag over the top of the leaves. The basil will discolour if it is stored in the fridge. It will need the water changed occasionally.
