Step by step of my masterpiece 😆

I'm sharing a personal challenge I face daily. As a blonde colour specialist I consistently receive positive feedback from my clients, who leave my chair extremely satisfied with their new hair. However, despite my professional success, it pains me to admit that I haven't felt confident about my own hair for over a decade; the only time I was happy was when I did it myself.

I've had my hair done 6 weeks ago and this is how it looked like this morning.
I've had a last minute cancellation today, so I decided to take my time and do my own hair.

🩶 Foils on scalp 🩶

What they are and why my clients love this technique?

Foils are positioned and folded so the lightener/colour reaches extremely close to the roots/scalp - often within millimeters - for a very clean, even lift from the root without obvious banding or harsh regrowth lines.

It creates bright blonde (or other colors) starting right from the roots.
Gives a more blended result compared to leaving more natural regrowth visible.
Often used in full-head foils, baby lights, or modern blonde techniques to avoid the
"tiger stripes" or uneven patches that can happen if foils sit too far from the scalp.

It's my way to go when clients can come once every 4 months to cancel that dark regrowth 😉

This technique has been my signature technique for the past 15 years.
