Please help me understand. I am in the nail industry for 22 and that is full time. 4 years prior to that 4 years part time. I have learned sculptred acrylic from day one. The pro’s the con’s. I have immigrated to Australia and obviously there is a whole other market. I have been to a few salons trying to get a feel for the market. It is bugging me how time is the only thing that matters. I don’t take hours to do nails but what I do is proven to be the best. Why do people settle for less. To get shellack takes 30 minutes, it lasts 2 weeks and it is the market here. Why not sit 45 minutes to an hour and your nails can last for 4 to 6 weeks. Cost effective, which one is cheaper then? I wear nails, acrylic, for 26 years now. Never have i had a problem with my own nails. I look after them, fill them, gel them and do a new set every 3 to 4 months. Once again. Which one is the best. I have had a clientbase in SA of over 200 customers. Some of them doing nails from the day I began. We became friends, we build a relationship, we talked, laughed and cried together. What i see and after market research that does not matter here. It is as quick as you can not getting to know the person infront of you. Is that what you really want. A quick fix, no interaction, pay and go and see you in 2 weeks cause that is how long it lasts. Please help me understand how that is what a client wants? What is the strongest? What lasts longer? What doesn’t damage your nails if you look after them? What is really cost effective? What do you really want on your nails?
