At-home dermaplaning and professional dermaplaning are very different treatments.

Many at-home tools use serrated blades, which can create tiny microtears in the skin and cause unnecessary trauma. This peach demonstration shows the difference clearly — the serrated blade disrupts the surface, while the professional non-serrated blade glides smoothly, removing buildup and peach fuzz without creating the same visible damage.
