WE ARE HIRING!!!

Hello everyone!! Due to an increase in no-shows over the last few weeks, we are having to put measures in place to look after our business and customers attempting to book spots over the holidays. As of December 1st leading up until Christmas if you no-show your appointment without notifying us prior there will be a fee added to your next service.

We understand the Christmas period can be tough for many but we believe in implementing this for the holiday season as we’re having to turn people away for clients that aren’t showing up.

We said goodbye to Alex last night,as he now ventures out on his own.

It’s always bitter sweet for me….full of pride as any of my barbers leave me and the team.
In two and a half years Alex has worked so hard at his skills to be one brilliant barber….it’s been an absolute pleasure watching you grow and now it’s time for you to shine and create your own future.

This is my first commissioned design completed for 2024 and this afternoon I presented it to the proud owner at Sloane Barbershop in Geelong.

This piece is specific to the history of Sloane Barbershop and is a representation of what the Barbershop is to both its clients and staff. The design includes the Barwon river which runs through Geelong and five yarning circles. These five yarning circles are the most important element of the design, which reflect the five barber chairs that each individual barber can relate to.

The design also includes some contemporary aspects that relate to Rachel Sloane herself and the Barbershop as a whole.

The greater design includes a range of people gathering and enjoying a relaxing conversation whilst putting everything on hold to receive a new haircut in a relaxing environment with their barber.

Next time you are in need of a hair cut I hope you enjoy looking at this design.
