More and more I am seeing clients with serious sun damage to their scalps. This can end up with devastating consequences, wearing a wig or topper to cover the scars due to skin cancer treatments is great, but why not avoid it altogether and protect yourself by wearing a hat and sunscreen.

New Year, New Look!
This gorgeous client came in for her first consultation today.
She’s been managing her Alopecia for many years with colours and different styles but felt it was time to look at some other options.
We tried on toppers and wigs but this wig was the winner 🥇

Yesterday we saw an act of aggression performed against a comedian making a joke about a womens hair loss.
Neither of these acts are ok!
Jada Pinket Smith hasn’t shied away from discussing her struggles with Alopecia and clearly rocks her bald head.

Recently in America, a 12 year old girl took her own life after the relentless bullying she suffered because of her Alopecia.

It is NOT ok to joke, tease, bully or be cruel to anyone going through hair loss!
