You've responded well to our local case and did good work in following the health advice. As a community we've come together and managed this pandemic really well.
IN BREAKING NEWS: masks will no longer be a requirement (except for when flying) from 6am tomorrow, Thursday 15 April.
There are also a range of restrictions being eased tomorrow morning, including:
- Visitors will be allowed in hospitals, aged and disability care as soon as facilities are ready.
- You can stand up to eat and drink in pubs and clubs, and dancing will be allowed.
- Stadiums, theatres and cinemas can operate at 100% capacity.
- Gatherings of up to 100 people will be allowed at private residences.
As always, if you’re sick – stay home and get tested.
