It is with a heavy heart that I am making this post. As of August 2024. Beauty On Pikes will be closing.
All current appointments will stay as they are, including appointments during and after August.

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank all of my clients who have supported me over these years. Whether you were a once of client, a couple of times or a regular. I have enjoyed every moment with you. We have a wonderful and supportive local community and I'm so blessed to have you apart of my life one way or another. You have helped me thrive with my beauty business but now it is time my family comes first and I'm taking a much needed break.

* Gift vouchers - I will be honouring gift vouchers towards the end of the year and I will be contacting gift card holders regarding this.

I look forward to seeing you soon for our last appointments and of course I will see you around town.

📣 Salon changes

Hi beauties.
This has been a big decision, and for the remainder of the year, I will be reducing my beauty room hours.
I will be open 2days and alternating the 3rd day fortnightly (Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays).
I will no longer be open afternoon/evenings.
This has been a decision made with the support of my young family.

These changes will take effect from now onwards.

All current appointments booked will stay as they are.

At this stage I'm unable to take in new clients and gift certificate sales are on hold.

I'm so grateful of the beautiful community around me and I appreciate everyone's support, flexibility and understanding🤍

This is a temporary change and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Lash lift 🤩

Lash lift is a process using your own natural lashes, lifted to create a full, more open appearance to your eye area.

The lift/curl effect of your lash lift lasts between 5-8 weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle, which can vary from person to person.

Lets talk ☆ Sunscreen ☆

Have you found an SPF you enjoy using everyday?
This skin care step is so personal. But once you've found one you love, it becomes a morning habit like brushing your teeth.

The functionality differs between chemical and physical sunscreen. Both provide broad spectrum protection and should be non-negotiable.

•Sun damage is a leading cause of damage to the skin, including pre mature aging, cell damage, pigmentation, and breakdown of elastin and collagen.

• The SPF in your Make-up isn't enough. You still need to wear sunscreen underneath.

• Yes, you still need to use sunscreen when it's cloudy.

• Sunscreen doesn't make you Vitamin D deficient.
(This one is attached to debate & opinions). UV rays are at their peak during 10am-4pm and at their lowest during sunrise and sun set.

UVA = Aging/Cell damaging rays. When there is sunlight, UVA rays remain intense.

UVB= Buring rays. UVB is most intense during times above and decrease in intensity for every hour outside of this time frame.

Skin care alone can't work to its potential without daily protection.
