This is my Adore (Adore Delano) our little Adorasaurus ... a cage hen rescue girl who has been through A LOT! She's the runt of the gang I adopted, and has been a little hen-pecked since getting her but she's been holding her own.

She had no feathers on her neck, bum and under her wings when I got her. She became unwell and I thought she was egg bound and treated her for that ... but no. Then I thought she had Egg Yolk Peritonitis and took her to the vet. Thank goodness no. However egg laying was uncomfortable, and they were either HUGE or weird ... no yolk, no white, no shell .... so she now has medication to stop her laying and give her poor over-used tiny body a rest.

BUT after the vet, the hen-pecking is crazy bad. She has been hiding in the roost away from the others for 2 days now as the other girls are really going for her, and I've had to feed her separately to make sure she is getting her share, and she has been extra-stressed.

So I decided to use my PAW-FECT DE-STRESS DROPS for all my girls, straight in their beaks. OMG I cannot believe that within hours Adore was back down with the others in the coop, not hiding in the roost, and they all seem a little calmer.
