Do you use grease for your natural hair?
Why grease can help dry 4C hair
1. It helps keep moisture in
4C hair can lose moisture quickly because of its tightly coiled structure. Applying grease after water or a water-based moisturiser can help slow down moisture loss and keep the hair feeling softer for longer.
2. It helps protect the hair strands
Grease creates a coating around the hair, which can reduce friction and help protect the strands from rubbing against clothing, pillows and other surfaces.
3. It can help reduce dryness and brittleness
When properly moisturised hair is sealed with a suitable grease, the hair may feel less rough and brittle, which can make manipulation easier and potentially reduce breakage caused by handling.
4. It can improve softness and manageability
For tightly coiled hair, keeping the strands lubricated can make detangling, styling and handling easier.

Hello everyone😊!
I hope you’re all doing well. I’ve been trying to introduce a bonnet to my daughter little by little, but she doesn’t seem to like it. She’ll keep it on for a few minutes and then take it off 😅. She doesn’t like hats either!
As a result, her hair is almost always dry, even though I do my very best to wash it regularly and re-moisturise it.
For those of you with little ones who don’t like bonnets or anything on their heads, what has worked for you? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated🙏🏾💕😊.
