Yes, I was told multiple times that my malaria prevention medication can make you photosensitive.

Yes, I did apply SPF.

Was it enough? Obviously not.

Safe to say my skin has taught me the lesson the hard way!

If you’re taking medication that makes you photosensitive, don’t just think “I’ve put sunscreen on, I’m good.” — up the SPF, reapply regularly, seek shade and cover up.

Because apparently sometimes you need to learn the lesson personally before it really sinks in!

If they tell you your medication makes you photosensitive… BELIEVE THEM and protect your skin accordingly!

Sylfirm X is a TGA-listed RF microneedling device. Fine needles deliver radiofrequency energy into the skin.

It may be discussed with adult men concerned about skin texture, pores, acne scarring, redness, pigmentation or firmness. Male skin is often thicker, so settings, sessions and recovery can differ. Suitability is individual.
