I recently got a text from a guy who'd been referred to me by two strangers - past clients he'd met at a sports recovery centre.

Trusting AI previews to set the expectation for your SMP treatment, is a sure-fire way to end up disappointed.
Let me explain.
AI previews essentially show you a digitally generated version of what your result could look like. They're always clean and sharp, they're always perfectly symmetrical, and they’ll usually even what your teeth for you 😂
The issue is - that they look NOTHING like what most artists are capable of producing on a real human head.
So why are artists using them?
Because it makes selling their service easier. It takes about 30 seconds, costs nothing - and will turn you into a model like specimen instantly. Once you’ve seen yourself looking that good - it’ll be hard to resist.
The problem is -focussing on the AI preview tells you nothing about the artist's actual skill or technique. It's really good at taking your attention away from the very thing you should be looking at
Here's what I'd encourage you to do if you’re being offered an AI preview.
Ask them to show you the AI preview they generated for a past client - and then show you a photo of what that client's ACTUAL result looked like.
If they aren’t happy to produce both images, you have your answer. If the AI preview and the ACTUAL result look nothing alike, you have your answer.
The risk with SMP is never the treatment itself. The risk is always who you choose to do it. AI previews are just a very polished way of hiding that.
