For all my brides-to-be out there, I gotta tell you — your bridal glam is a process. It takes time, skill, the right placement and layering of skincare and product, and above all, trust. Trust in the process, and trust in your artist.

That’s why I like to build the timeline so there’s a little break between hair and makeup — so you’re not sitting in the chair for a long stretch.

I usually do the bride’s hair first, then give her a break for a little breakfast. Meanwhile, I’ll be working on another member of the bridal party, giving the bride a moment to chill, brush her teeth, and come back relaxed and ready for the makeup chair.

And the most important rule for all my brides-to-be: never, ever schedule yourself last for hair and makeup. The more time you have at the end to put on the dress, the shoes, the accessories, take lots of pics, and just soak in the moment before you walk down the aisle — the better! 💛

I loved creating this Big Beautiful Bridal hair for Emmy Perkins-Joce .
We decided to go even Bigger with the bun than we did for Emmy’s preview so I added extra padding for a little more impact!
We went for a soft Boho Braid on one side with messy undone Big Bridal bun with lots of flowing curls and face framing pieces giving the look a super soft and romantic feel.
