She traveled to New York in April 2013 to attend the International Makeup Artist Trade Show (IMATS), updated herself on the latest techniques, and connected herself with top makeup artists in Hollywood (Oscar and Academy Award winners) including movies such as Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Harry Potter and Ugly Betty. Ronalou will also be travelling to London in June to be mentored by one of the top makeup artists there, and to also attend the London IMATS. It is Ronalou’s passion to learn from the very best from around the world and bring these cutting-edge skills back to Asia to share with her clients.
