We didn’t have a backdrop so we used black material we bought from spotlight and used thumbtacks and stuck them into the wall 🤣

I found these earrings in a costume hire place 🙊 and used l**e in the hair for the wet look 💦

Being a male makeup artist is kinda chic, actually ✨

But over the years, it’s definitely come with its fair share of under-the-breath remarks, subtle digs, blows and lows.

15 years in, and I can honestly say… I wouldn’t change a thing.

Every comment, every challenge and every moment has shaped the artist I am today. Still here, still creating, still glamming — and still loving what I do. 💄

BEAUTY EXPO 2026 | R E C A P ✨ Silk Oil of Morocco
So much fun and energy going into this years Beauty Expo Australia - it was so great being back and seeing all our loyal customers face to face and meeting so many new ones. Also launching my new signature fragrance scent “22” - being a total SELL OUT was beyond anything I could imagine. I’m so glad it’s finally out there and that everyone can have a piece of EURO SUMMER always ☀️
We couldn’t of done this expo without the amazing Silk team who drove hours in trucks from interstate and flown into Sydney for the expo. Worked on minimal sleep to bring this all to you all and absolutely SLAYED🫶🏼❤️
To so many familiar faces returning back to our stand - we love and adore you all and thankyou for having our products apart of your everyday routine. My fellow makeup artist babes who also came to give hugs and support is really something I value so much within our industry. I love our creative community dearly. To all the fellow exhibitors who I met, your all killing it and you will always have my 110% support in everything you do and bring out.
