What is PRP?

• PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma — blood plasma containing a concentrated dose of platelets (thrombocytes), used to support tissue repair and regeneration.
• Direct injection of PRP is used to stimulate the body’s natural tissue repair processes, encouraging the production of collagen, elastin, and new microvascular supply in areas of tissue damage or deficiency.
• Following treatment, the platelets release growth factors that support this repair process over the following weeks, with continued tissue remodelling occurring over subsequent months.
• Clinical studies have shown PRP supports improved tissue quality, including collagen and elastin structure and skin texture, with improvements in skin appearance occurring as part of this underlying tissue repair process.

BIOFILLER & PRP

What is BIOFILLER?

• Biofiller is derived from the patient’s own plasma and platelets and is used to address tissue volume deficiency by stimulating the body’s own regenerative response. It is prepared and available for injection within 30 minutes of blood collection, using no additives beyond the patient’s own biological material.
• Biofiller supports tissue restoration in the treated area for four to six months following injection. Because a high concentration of platelet-derived growth factors is combined with the plasma gel prior to injection, the treatment also stimulates tissue regeneration at the injection site — meaning the treated tissue undergoes a repair process in addition to volume support.
• As the resorbable component is absorbed by the body over six months, the regenerative effect on the tissue continues, as the treated area has undergone growth-factor-driven repair. This can support more typical tissue function over time — for example, in facial tissue and the muscles involved in expression — as a result of the underlying regenerative process, rather than as the primary aim of treatment.
