Heeeeyyyy ❤️

Just a little update…. I’ve decided to see out my April appointments and then take some more time out. This means I won’t be taking any further appointments for the moment.

I’m 10 weeks into my loss of Scott, and let me tell you it’s been the biggest emotional roller coaster of my life.

Coming back to work for the past 7 weeks has been really good for me, but I’ve hit a point where I’m feeling unmotivated. I’m finding things that are normally easy a real task.

I have let the girls know and they’re happy to help with my clients. I’m not sure how long it will be, but I’ll definitely be back. I absolutely love what I do, but I want to be better mentally before I commit to taking more appointments.

I’m ok. I’m doing the best I can. Life just feels different and I need to find the me that isn’t Scotts wife. I’ll keep you guys updated and share with you as I go.

We always had big plans for our future and i’d really like to focus on that for a while.

Love you guys x

Happy Sunday ❤️

I’ve just replied to all my messages 🫣 I’m so sorry it’s taking me longer than normal to get back to everyone.

I’m slowly getting there. It’s been 8 weeks since Scott passed away, and i’ve been back at work for 5 of those. Work keeps my mind busy and i like being there.

I’ll keep on doing a couple of clients a day until the Easter school holidays are over, then I’ll return to normal hours where i see 4 clients a day x

Since my life has felt like a terrible movie these past few months, I feel like this needs to be said 🫣

Back in December I felt like I had no choice but to share something really personal with what felt like the whole world. January came and I had to share with everyone that Scott had passed away. Being a normally very private person, this was and still is extremely hard for me.

Just because I’ve shared this, doesn’t mean I’m comfortable talking about it. I’m really not. I’ve really struggled this weekend and when I reflect on it, it’s because I feel like I’m telling everyone the same story over and over. Some people keep it brief, some don’t talk about it at all and some ask a lot of questions.

This feels so surreal. On the outside i look like I’m doing ok. But I’m not. I’ve literally lost my husband, my best friend and I’m lost without him.

I knew coming back to work would mean the first 8 weeks of seeing everyone for the first time would be hard. I made the decision to get back to work as soon as I could to over come this, and not build up any more anxiety.

More than anything, I have a 12 year old to support and I don’t want anything else in his life to change right now.

Please when you come in feel comfortable enough to give me a hug and tell me you’re sorry to hear the news 🥰 But asking questions is really hard. I understand that everyone is interested in my story. And in time I might feel better in talking about it, but the story is this.

Scott had a heart attack at 43. We didn’t know he had heart problems other than AF which he took medication for. As far as we both knew it wasn’t anything to worry about. He went through a lot of stress leading up to his death, but we were the happiest we had ever been.

That’s it, there’s no more to share of the story. Anything else is private and I choose to keep that between myself and our families.

I am ready to be back at work, I love what I do, I love the girls I work with but I’m not ready to deep dive into my life.

Thank you all for supporting me I’ll never forget it ❤️❤️❤️ but it’s time for me to keep pushing forward x

Today didn’t quite go to plan.. I arrived to work with half dried hair and a child who didn’t go to school because his new uniform was too big 🫣 it was a bit chaotic.

I had a great day back in the salon though ❤️❤️

I have really full weeks coming up and I’m worried about taking any more bookings for a minute.

I have quite a few messages in my inbox but I just want to get through this week before I take further bookings. Please don’t think I’m ignoring messages, I just don’t want to over commit.

I think I’m booked for the next 2.5 weeks so if you need it done earlier please message the Blonde Factorie page and see if any of the girls can accommodate x

If you missed my last post about my price list I just wanted to clarify something.

While for some of you this is a big increase especially if you were on really old pricing, I have also added the option of a colour only service. You will be able to request at the time of booking to take off the cut and blowdry. This will save you $40.

I know there will be a few clients that will be happy with this option as they already know my work and want to be in and out anyway.

But please keep in mind that you guys have been a little spoilt over the years with this being added as a complimentary service ❤️❤️

I will post available appointments for those who are waiting to book in tomorrow x

My first few weeks will be different to normal. I plan on easing in and just seeing a few clients a day.

Over the past year all of the girls in the salon had price adjustments. Me included. However I didn’t really put mine in place 🫣🫣 Scott and I were very fortunate to have 2 incomes which did make me a little lax with my business.

This year I’m focused on growth and introducing a new service.

I’ll still have my regular services and as you can see I have added in a few more.

I know that as businesses progress, they loose clients as they may no longer align with them and I totally understand that. I just don’t want to hold myself back in fear of that ❤️❤️

Below is my price list, unfortunately I can no longer offer anyone discounted prices.

Thank you all for your support over the years, but this solo mum has work to do xx
