PYRAMID BEAUTY: A LOCAL MUM’S VISION FOR FAMILY-FRIENDLY SELF-CARE
Last year, local mum Sheridan Ligasacchi saw an opportunity to create a beauty salon that offers professional treatments, in the town she’s proudly called home since 2010.
While on maternity leave with her daughter, Sheridan began studying beauty therapy. After earning her qualifications in 2024, she opened Pyramid Beauty—a home-based salon designed with flexibility, family, and comfort in mind.
Still early in her professional journey, Sheridan has quickly established herself by offering a welcoming space where clients, especially mothers, feel supported. With children welcome in the salon, she provides an environment where parents don’t have to choose between self-care and childcare.
Pyramid Beauty offers body and facial waxing, lash lifts, brow laminations, and a variety of lash and brow tinting services. All treatments use vegan-friendly and cruelty-free products.
Sheridan’s approach has made her a favourite among locals of all ages. It’s not uncommon for her to treat multiple generations of the same family, creating lasting client relationships that go beyond the chair. One of her favourite parts of the job is seeing clients react to their first lash lift—often stunned at the transformation using only their natural lashes.
Sheridan’s passion for her community goes beyond beauty treatments. In the past she has helped organise food donations for the local Early Years Centre’s food pantry, contributed gift vouchers for Mother’s Day raffles, and sponsored the Fashion on the Field event at the Gordonvale races.
With her second child due in early 2026, Sheridan will take a short break from late January to early March—but plans to return just in time to celebrate Pyramid Beauty’s second anniversary. Appointments can be booked via Facebook, Instagram, or through her online booking system, Fresha.
Pyramid Beauty continues to grow, one smiling client at a time—offering more than beauty, but a space that feels like home.
