Somehow we’ve blinked and September is here and Christmas, my favourite time of year is just around the corner! 🎄🎅🏼
August was filled with beautiful hair, conversations, plenty of laughs and some much-needed moments of stillness. I loved spoiling those lucky enough to secure a Serenity Scalp Ritual, and am loving adding a little bit of stillness with my Serenity Pause!
Those moments are still some of my favourite parts of what I’ve created here giving you permission to stop for a little while, be looked after and simply enjoy a moment that is entirely yours. I’ve been a little quiet on socials, but the salon certainly hasn’t been quiet behind the scenes.
If you haven’t thought about your appointments leading into Christmas yet this is your little reminder 😘
And there’s something else, I’ve been working on something NEW for the salon, something I know you’re all going to love, and something that feels very me and very much at home in this little space I’ve created. Watch this space 👀

Sydney Hair Festival was the perfect mix of education, family, friendships and celebrating some truly incredible achievements within our industry.
I always come home with new ideas, but this year I came home with something even more valuable, a clearer understanding of who I am, what I value and the experience I want to create for every one of you who walks through my door. And of course a story or two to share, Rosé + Leissa = story’s 🤣🥂🥂

A very long time ago we meet not because of hair, you were simply Tony’s mate. A couple of years later, you became my boss, and over the next eight years you became one of the biggest influences on my career. Who says friends shouldn’t work together 🥰
You taught me to trust my abilities, back myself and never question my skills. The confidence I have today as a hairdresser is something you’ve played a huge part in, and for that I’ll always be grateful.
Watching you be named last night as AHIA Men’s Specialist of the Year was incredibly special and truly a moment I’ll never forget.
To many, it’s a prestigious industry award, incredible! To those of us lucky enough to know you, it’s recognition of the passion, creativity, dedication and leadership you’ve poured into this industry for so many years.
To also see your incredible team recognised with multiple finalists and then your incredible taking home two national awards was the perfect reflection of the culture you’ve built and the people you’ve inspired along the way.
CQ is incredibly fortunate to have a stylist of your calibre not only representing our region on the national stage, but continually investing back into our local industry. Your passion for education, mentoring and generously sharing your knowledge has inspired and shaped the careers of so many hairdressers over the years, including mine.

🎂 Happy 8th Birthday 🎂
Eight years ago I took a leap of faith in myself and opened the doors to my little salon, and what a journey it’s been!
What started as a dream has grown into something so incredibly special. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of not only caring for your hair, but sharing in your lives, the good days, the hard days, the big milestones and all the moments in between. The conversations, the laughter and the trust you place in me every time you sit in my chair mean more than I can ever truly put into words. 🥰
This month also marks 20 years since I became a qualified hairdresser, which feels pretty surreal to say out loud. I feel incredibly grateful to still be doing what I love after all these years, and even more grateful for the community of beautiful people who have supported me along the way.
To those who sit in my chair, some of you for years and some very special ones for decades! Thank you, thank you for choosing me, for supporting my little business and thank you for being part of this journey with me.
