Why do acrylic infills take around 45 minutes? Isn’t it just painting the nails again?

Not quite! An acrylic infill is so much more than simply changing your colour or design. 💅

As your natural nails grow, the acrylic enhancement grows with them, creating a gap between the product and your cuticle. During an infill appointment, our nail technician carefully removes any lifting or excess product, reshapes and rebalances the enhancement, and prepares the natural nail before applying fresh acrylic to the regrowth area.

This process helps maintain the strength, structure and appearance of your enhancements, while addressing any lifting before it can lead to further breakage or moisture becoming trapped underneath the product.

Your nails are then shaped, refined and finished with your choice of colour, design or nail art — because, of course, that’s the fun part! 🎨✨

Regular maintenance is an important part of wearing acrylic enhancements. We generally recommend booking your infills every 2–3 weeks, depending on your individual nail growth, lifestyle and the condition of your enhancements.
