Double cleansing, explained simply.

The first cleanse is oil or balm. It breaks down makeup, SPF, and the oil your skin produces through the day.

The second is a gentle water-based cleanser. That one actually cleans the skin underneath.

One cleanse on top of a full face of SPF is mostly just moving product around. Two takes an extra sixty seconds and makes everything after it work harder.
