How I retouch this ONE YEAR REGROWTH! 🤯🫣

First divide the canvas into 3 sections from the top of the head to behind the hair.

Start from the back I do 1cm thick sections and do back to back slices avoiding the roots by half a cm.

The bleach powder I started off with 10vol at the bottom back, 12.5 vol at the top back, left side 15 vol then the right side 17.5 vol all 1:2 ratio. Bumping up the bleach allows you to then let it sit until it’s all clean and even then rinse it all off at once! 💯

After that I toned the roots with 8.1 + 8.0 20vol 1:1
and the ends with 10V with 10vol.

Man, some days I’m like how do I do this all? Being a dad, husband, Running 2 salons, managing staff, being on socials, educator and all the other hats that you need to put on daily. Honestly it’s tiring and yes I do feel burnt out. 🥵

But let me tell you. When you come home to this, you somehow you have all the energy and it reminds me why I do this. Hopefully in future I can pass all the lessons I’ve learnt to Levi and teach him to never give up on his dreams! ❤️💯

5 years of consistency and it still feels surreal! 🙏🏼💯 From breaking bad habits to building good ones, balancing work, marriage, friendships, and family... it’s been a wild ride. There have been times when it’s felt impossible, when the inner voice has been LOUD, and I’ve wanted to throw in the towel… BUT here’s the thing! Every single day, I’ve shown up, I’ve pushed through, and I’ve kept going. And you know what? It’s worth it. Your future self will thank you for the hard work, the tears, and the struggles.
