Hi, l'm Aly.

My husband and I have three children 4, 9 and 11. We are a local farming family.
I have been in the hairdressing industry since 2002, starting my career in Tamworth, moving to Sydney for the following 10 years.

I have had the fortune of learning and working along side some incredible stylists from all over Australia. With the knowledge and skills I've gained over the years, l hope to ensure you that your hair care and needs are my utmost priority.

I have a beautiful home studio where I have been working the last 8 years and will continue to nurture, along side Art + Science.

I am excited to continue offering you wonderful hair services and experiences.

Hi, I’m Sam – the face behind Bare Beauty By Sam!

My love for beauty started 7 years ago with makeup for special events and weddings. That passion quickly grew, leading me to start my beauty apprenticeship in 2022—and I haven’t looked back since!

My goal is simple: I want every client to leave feeling confident, empowered, and loving the skin they’re in. Whether it’s a fresh wax, perfectly snatched brows, a glowing spray tan, or a stunning makeup look for a special occasion, I’m here to help you feel your absolute best.

As a mum of four very busy boys and a farmer’s wife, I understand how hectic life can get! If you ever need an appointment outside of my available times, feel free to reach out—I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

I can’t wait to welcome you into the salon and help you feel amazing! See you soon!

The Polish Bar

Hi I’m Sam, the heart and hands behind The Polish Bar - Nail & Hair Studio!

With over a decade in the industry, my journey began in 2011 with a hairdressing apprenticeship. Since then, I’ve gained experience in salons across regional NSW and working with NAK Hair, supporting salons in the Hunter and North West regions.

In 2022, I earned my Certificate III in Nail Technology, fuelling my passion for creating stunning nails and perfecting intricate nail art.

Starting my own business was something I didn't have on the cards for this year, but the chance to combine my passion for hair and nails was impossible to resist. I feel so fortunate to call the beautiful Art + Science Building my home.

I am so overwhelmed with all the support I am getting, see you in the salon! 💅💇‍♀️
