Our HMCo crew — , and Sam— were proud to return to Gymea Tech High for Hair for a Cure / World’s Greatest Shave.

Together we donated 17 haircuts, each one representing courage, generosity & hope for those facing blood cancer.

To the students who stepped up — you inspire us. 🌟

Why it matters 👉 The World’s Greatest Shave is one of Australia’s most iconic fundraising events. Each year, thousands of people shave, cut, or colour their hair to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation, supporting families living with blood cancer.

Funds raised go directly towards:
✨ Accommodation & transport for families who must travel for treatment
✨ Blood Cancer Support Coordinators, providing personalised guidance and care
✨ Ground-breaking research bringing us closer to the goal of zero lives lost to blood cancer by 2035

Every student haircut today is more than a new look — it’s a step toward a future free of blood cancer.

We are honoured to stand beside Gymea Tech students and staff in this incredible cause.

Hmco spent the day volunteering at Eat.Shop.Chop at the OzHarvest Market in Waterloo. Together with 35 hairdressers, we looked after 178 guests in just four hours — fresh cuts, gentle conversation, and a moment to breathe and feel seen. ✂️✨
What’s Eat.Shop.Chop all about?�It’s a simple, beautiful idea: bring good people and practical support together for anyone doing it tough. Guests received:�• Groceries from �• A hot lunch from the OzHarvest Food Truck�• New clothing from �• Haircuts at the Pop-Up Salon�Plus little joys like ice-cream, pet food, and essential household items — all offered with dignity and zero-waste in mind. 🌾🥗👚🍦🐾
As Paul Frasca from Sustainable Salons says, “Everyone deserves to feel confident and welcomed.” Today, that looked like shoulders relaxing, eyes brightening, and people walking out standing a little taller. That’s the power of care. 🤝

What a beautiful surprise Tiela and Allana received on Saturday from one of our lovely clients!

She has been a wonderful training model for our two emerging stylists providing her time for them to practice weekly to increase their skills and expertise.

She then surprised them both with a stunning bunch of flowers, acknowledgment and gratefulness.
