🐍 Snake Oil has slithered into the Apothecary! 🐍

Step right up, curious travellers—there’s a bottle of mystery waiting at – The Apothecary. If you’ve ever watched Vikings, you’ll know that a mysterious bottle can be just as intriguing as a sharp sword... and no, don’t worry—Lagertha never poisoned Ragnar with snake oil! 😉

At the Apothecary, we’ve brewed up our own medieval-inspired Snake Oil as a fun nod to the travelling merchants and market hawkers of old. In medieval times, “snake oil” was often sold as a cure-all, wrapped in mystery, tall tales, and a little bit of theatre.

Our version is all about keeping that spirit of history alive—so stop by, have a laugh, hear the story, and see what all the fuss is about!

The official map for the Abbey Medieval Festival is out!

Herbal Valley (known at the festival as “The Apothecary”) is now in a brand new location this year — you’ll find us at stall G3 🌿

We’re in a different spot from previous years, so to make it easy I’ve cropped the map and drawn a magenta line from the front gate straight to our stall so you won’t miss us.

Can’t wait to see you all wandering through the festival and stopping by for your favourites ✨
