Dread Kitten Dreadlocks

Time for another Trim!
Some people like for them to all line up when they are tied up and some like them to line up when they are left down… which do you prefer?

Never judge a book by its cover!! Some of the nicest people I have met and had the loveliest conversations with are people who don’t conform to societies ideas of normal… and I love it!!!
These neon green locks were easy to work with and a few repairs were done. We also tucked the ends but I’ll post about those another time.

Always lovely doing these dreads. Not too tight though which is easy to do when they grow so quickly!
I wish I had that problem 🤔

Hey Hey!
So I know I haven’t posted for ages… I took a big break from socials, you know for the ol’ mental health!
But as many of you know I have been busy… with you guys and your wonderful dreads 💚
I will have more posts coming soon I promise!

Pretty damn proud of this job.
Going from bright orange wavy synthetic to a more natural red. The client helped by cutting the majority of the brights off but was well over due for maintenance.
We remade a lot of the sections and added the new extensions for a pretty impressive transformation if I do say so myself.
Had a blast listening to Fluffy’s comedy specials.

Fun install over a couple of nights after work.
In memory of the late great Prince of Darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne we added a little Bat 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻

If you’ve thought about getting dreads but can spare enough hours in one sitting we can work over a couple of sessions.

We did a tuck of the ends after a few months having the synthetic extensions off.
I always recommend sitting with a fringe/wispy ends/half head for a few months before deciding if you want them.
Say it with me… “It’s always easier to put them in than take them out”!!

It’s been awhile, and a few trims in between visits! Man I wish my hair grew as fast as yours my lovely.

The owners Kristen and Holly have from creative_vibe_tribe welcomed me in and let me stay in one of the gorgeous cabins they have up for offer.
