Iāll never regret taking my family on a work trip to Europe. It was the most amazing experience. We were in the chaos. The heat. The humidity. The tantrums amongst all 4 of us. But I would do it all over again and again.
Book that trip. My mum always says money you can always make. But memories last forever ā¤ļøāØ
And that advice is so true. So for you makeup artists who want to travel and work just do it. You wonāt regret all the gelato and pasta youāll eat while over there.

To most people, eyelid tape just looks like a tiny strip of adhesive.
But to someone who has spent their entire life wishing they had more eyelid space, a visible crease, or eyes that appear larger and more openā¦ it can mean so much more than that.

A little vlog of what it really looks like packing for a destination wedding.
Before flying to Italy, I had to cut my makeup kit down by more than half, and honestlyā¦ I was terrified Iād leave behind something important.
I packed, unpacked, repackedā¦ probably 10 times before I finally felt confident enough to zip it closed.
The funny part?
I still didnāt use half of what I brought.
That reminded me of something I wish more makeup artists knewā¦

The goal was never just about makeupš
There was always something deeper that fuelled me to aim higher.
I grew up poor. Living in housing commission homes with my Vietnamese immigrant parents who worked 24/7 to make ends meet.
They financially supported their families back home meanwhile trying to feed 5 kids and themselves.
It was tough growing up feeling like we didnāt have enough. My parentās struggles and hard working determination gave me the strength to push through any uncomfortable circumstances.
Thatās why building my own makeup business and having the freedom to choose my clients and the flexibility to work anywhere in the world is a dream come true š
Taking my family overseas to travel and work has always been a goal of mine. Being able to do what I love and having my family by my side to me is having the cake and eating it too. Thereās nothing more satisfying than that.
Makeup artistry has given me endless possibilities and opportunities. From booking international bridal clients to getting paid brand deals and receiving free PR from big global beauty brands.
