🤎 END OF AN ERA — UTOPIA BEAUTY & SPA 🤎

I’ve started writing this post more times than I can count, and I don’t think there will ever be the perfect words to say it…

Utopia Beauty & Spa will officially close its doors on September 23rd.

Even writing that sentence feels incredibly bittersweet.

With so many changes in my personal life, changes in lifestyle, and the reality of our ever-changing economy, I’ve had to make one of the hardest decisions I’ve made as a business owner — to let Utopia go.

When you build a business, you pour so much of yourself into it. Your time, your energy, your money, your ideas, your heart. You celebrate every little win, lose sleep over the hard days, question yourself a million times and somehow keep showing up.

And somewhere along the way, it becomes so much more than just a business.

Utopia became a little family.

It became a place where people came for a beauty appointment but stayed for the chats. Where we heard about engagements, pregnancies, heartbreaks, new jobs, family dramas and everything in between.

We laughed until our stomachs hurt. We shared tears. We watched clients become friends, and some of those friendships will stay with us long after the doors close.

And THAT is the part that makes saying goodbye so hard.

To every person who ever walked through our doors — thank you.

Thank you for trusting us with your brows, lashes, nails, skin and your stories.

Thank you for choosing a small business when you could have chosen anywhere.

Thank you for rebooking, recommending us, buying products, sharing our posts and telling your friends about us.

Thank you to the people who supported us from the very beginning, and to those who only recently found us.

You are the reason Utopia got to exist. 🤎

Our beautiful Georgia has already finished her time with us and has headed off to the city for a brand-new adventure. While it feels strange knowing that chapter has already ended, I am so excited for everything waiting for her and so grateful she was part of the Utopia story.

And our beautiful Britt will be in salon with us right through until our final days. Britt has poured so much love into Utopia and into every client who sits in front of her. I couldn’t imagine these final weeks without her, and I’m so grateful we get to finish this chapter together.

I know this announcement may come as a shock.

And truthfully, this decision comes with a lot of mixed emotions.

There is sadness. There is relief. There is fear. There is excitement for what comes next. And there is an enormous amount of gratitude.

Sometimes you can love something deeply and still know that it’s time to let it go.

And for me, it’s time.

So rather than looking at these next few weeks only as a goodbye, we want to enjoy them.

We want to see your faces.
We want to hear the salon full of conversations.
I want Britt to create some final beautiful sets.
I want us to laugh.
And I want to appreciate Utopia for everything it has been before we turn the lights off for the final time.

🤎 Our final day of trade is September 23rd.
🤎 All outstanding gift vouchers must be redeemed before our closure and can be used towards services or products.
🤎 All retail stock is now 50% OFF until our final day or until sold out.

If you have supported Utopia in any way, big or small, please know that you were part of this story.

I will forever be proud of what we created.

I will forever be grateful for the people it brought into my life.

And although closing the doors hurts, I know that sometimes an ending is simply making room for a new beginning.

So, here’s to our final few weeks.
