It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend Tracy. She was one of a kind, a true friend with a great sense of humour. Her strength was inspiring, especially over the last year.

For over thirty years, Tracy was one of the leaders at Hair Gallery. Over those years, she met clients who became friends and staff who became family.

There will be a farewell for Tracy at 3pm on Friday the 26th of April at Turnbull’s Funerals (North Hobart). A celebration of her life will be at The Prince of Wales afterwards, all are welcome.

She will be forever cherished and greatly missed.

🌟 Update on Hair Gallery 🌟

Wow, 2023- what a year. It is with mixed emotions that we fill you in on a few changes happening at the Hair Gallery.

Hair Gallery will be closing its doors on Saturday the 4th of November. Unfortunately, we have not found a new owner to take over the business BUT on the upside… we have some exciting news !

We would like to invite all of you to join us at our new home, Jakadjari Hair Australia. Jakadjari is located at 32 Murray Street, Hobart (just along from Hadleys). Existing bookings will carry on, just at a different location. The welcoming team at Jakadjari are very excited to take Mandy, Brydie and Amy on board. We all start there on Monday the 6th of November.

As many of you know, Tracy has decided to retire. We wish her all the best with retirement, may it be filled with lots of rest and some lovely, sunny holidays !!

Finally, we would like to thank each and every one of our clients, for the years of your endless support. Without you, we would have not survived for as long as we have. The Hair Gallery was an institution, it has shaped all of us as hairdressers and as people. We will be sorry to let it go but also hopeful and excited for what the future brings.
