Charging cancellation and no-show fees can be one of the hardest parts of running a hair & beauty business.
When you book an appointment, that time is set aside specifically for you. When you cancel at the last minute or don’t show up, there often isn’t enough time to fill that appointment with someone else.
And while it can feel like “just one appointment”, for a small business, that missed appointment can mean hours of lost income.
So many small businesses have the same policies in place for the exact same reason. It’s not about being difficult or trying to make extra money, it’s about protecting the time, income and business.
