Preparing for birth is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, your baby and your support person.

Our next Positive Birth Classes with The Grace Between are happening on 17 & 18 October in Gatton, helping expectant parents build the knowledge, confidence and informed decision-making that can make all the difference throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond.

🌟 Parents aged under 25 can attend FREE!
We're passionate about ensuring young families have access to high-quality birth education, giving them the tools, support and confidence to begin their parenting journey feeling informed and empowered.

For everyone else, the program is heavily subsidised at just $150 per couple (valued at approximately $550).

Happy Monday and new financial year! Our website has been updated to reflect July - Dec 26 offerings, so I thought it was time to share a little about our doula services for the rest of 2026 on here.

If you didn't know this about me already, I'm literally a qualified drama queen (Bachelor of Fine Arts [Drama/ Business]) so I gave into using dramatic terms for the names of my packages.

While there will be nothing performative about the journey we embark on together, if you chose to have me by your side, you WILL be the main character in this production. If you haven't been treated like the main character yet, we've got to change that. I'll be there to shift that narrative safely, supportively and sustainably so that it will carry on into motherhood and beyond.

If I'm not available to support your family, I know a few epic doula humans in the area to refer to.

Ps. Unless I'm on call for you or your loved one or have arranged a call with you in advance, phone calls will not be the primary means of communication.

PPS. We service Ipswich & surrounding regions, with a focus on Somerset and Lockyer Valley regions because there is not enough love and support out that way yet for families in those regions.

+ I’m pregnant & considering your doula support, when should I contact you?

We prioritise the quality of our support over quantity. Therefore, unless mutually agreed with all parties, we only take on
one birth in any given month. For this reason, it’s never too early to contact me and catch up for an obligation free consult.

+ I’m planning for a hospital birth, can you support me?

Yes, absolutely! Always check your preferred hospital guidelines to see if things have changed, but currently doulas are welcome and in some settings, are even encouraged to be one of the two
support people per birth. Communicating your plan to have a doula with your medical care providers early on optimises our ability to support you as the ultimate team come labour.

+ I’m planning for a homebirth, can you support me?

Yes, absolutely! If you are being supported by endorsed private midwives,
I can and would love to support you and your family at home. As a homebirther myself, I know a thing or two about homebirths.

We are currently servicing families in Ipswich, QLD and surrounding regions (Somerset, Lockyer & Scenic Rim etc.)
