Just a little follow-up from my previous post 🩷
After a lot of thought, I’ve made the heartbreaking decision to close down Kkalakosa.

This choice has weighed heavily on my heart, and it’s definitely not how I imagined things would unfold after taking some time away 🥹😭

It’s been a wonderful 17 years behind the chair and 20 years in the industry! So many huge highlights, and honestly, I truly thought I’d still be here doing hair in my 80s 😂

I don’t want to say I’ll 100% stop doing hair because, let’s be honest, I can’t help myself 😂 But for now, I think the fairest thing to do is step away.

If you have gift vouchers, please get in touch before June 15th, 2026.

I’m incredibly grateful for every appointment, every message, every recommendation, every laugh in the salon chair, every coffee and lunch brought in (and I loved when you guys swept up your own mess 😂), and every single person who has supported my little business. You have all helped build Kkalakosa into something so special to me.

Thank you for all the kindness and understanding already shown to me — I appreciate it more than you know.

Everyone is welcome to message me for colour formulas, and I also have many wonderful recommendations within our hairdressing community. We are very blessed in Kal with so much talent ✨

Don’t be strangers, I’ll miss you all more than you’d expect — I love you all 🩷

To my wonderful clients,

I’m so sorry to share that Kkalakosa will be closed until the start of June due to health reasons. Unfortunately, this means all appointments during this time will need to be cancelled.

This hasn’t been an easy decision, and I’m truly upset to have to do this, however it’s necessary to ensure the best long-term outcome for both my health and the business.

I won’t be taking bookings during this period for June just yet, but I will keep you all updated.

If you need to book elsewhere during this time, please feel free to reach out — I’m more than happy to provide your colour/formula details to assist.
