Ambiance & Co

Only taken me 3 weeks to sort all these appts out.

So I’ll Be reopening the online bookings- this will only be for my regular ladies. (Not the once a yr or 2) (but I’m also not a bitch😂 so maybe)

I’m not at capacity to take on anymore clients. I can recommend lots of hairdressers in town (depending on your service)

But from the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting my small business and I’m literally just doing what I can.

Questions that I’ve answered recently (for laughs)

will I be hiring new hairdressers (no) I got renovations to complete from 3years ago.
Will I be taking on apprentices (no)
Will I be hiring a tea and tidy (already in play just gotta sort out my life) which ive been trying to sort for 36yrs
Won’t you get lonely- someone who knows me wouldnt ask that question. I have 5 personalities. I’m never lonely. 😂
Am I closing? You wish 😂🔥

Alright. Thank you 🙏

P.s any online bookings who aren’t regulars will receive a text. Sorrrryyyyyyyy 🖤🖤🖤🖤

A little update from Ambiance & Co 🤍

As of yesterday, both of my staff members have made the decision to move on and begin their next chapters.

It’s definitely a big and unexpected change for the salon, but I want to reassure everyone that Ambiance & Co is still very much open and I’m not going anywhere.

Over the next little while I’ll be working through existing appointments and bookings while I figure out what this next chapter looks like. My books are already incredibly busy, so I just ask for a little patience while I navigate the changes and look after everyone as best I can.

(Te is taking on appts in the salon)

Te owns and operates Ataahua Hair Collective, her own independent business from within the salon. Her business, appointments and bookings are completely separate from Ambiance & Co, and Te is currently taking appointments.

To my girls moving on, thank you for your time as part of Ambiance & Co. I wish you both all the best with what comes next.

And to all of my beautiful clients — thank you for your loyalty, patience and continued support. It genuinely means so much to me.

Ambiance & Co isn’t closing — we’re simply entering a new chapter. 🤍

🌿 Women’s Wellbeing Camp Out on Country – Update 🌿

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming interest in our upcoming Women’s Wellbeing Camp Out on Country.

Our team is currently working through logistics and developing a meaningful itinerary filled with cultural, healing, and wellbeing activities for our beautiful women. We are also inviting strong, culturally minded women from within our community to take part and lead as facilitators, sharing their knowledge, experience, and strengths with participants.

Some of the activities we are hoping to include are:

✨ Traditional Welcome to Country
✨ Smoking and Cleansing Ceremony
✨ Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop
✨ Local Artwork and Painting Workshop
✨ Visits to Women’s Sacred Sites
✨ Bush Medicine Workshop
✨ Bushfood Cooking and Damper Making
✨ Women’s General Health Checks
✨ Tunes, Yarns and Prayers Around the Campfire

This invitation is open to all women, from all cultures, races, and backgrounds. We believe that bringing women together in a respectful and culturally safe environment creates opportunities for learning, healing, understanding, and connection.

Costs will be involved, and we are working hard to keep the camp as affordable as possible while still delivering a high-quality and meaningful experience.

This is more than just a camp — it is an opportunity for women to reconnect with themselves, each other, culture, and Country. Our vision is for this to become the first of many ongoing camps, creating regular opportunities for women to gather, share knowledge, strengthen wellbeing, and build lasting connections.

📅 Tentative Dates: 28–30 August 2026

Thank you for your patience while we finalise the details. We are excited to bring this vision to life and create something truly special for the women of our region.

💛 Away from the distractions of everyday life, this camp will provide a safe and supportive space for women to heal, learn, connect, and grow together on Country.

For any of our ladies that have been looking for Megan! 🫶🏽🫶🏽
