✨ One Year in the Karratha City Plaza ✨

It’s been one whole year since I officially picked up the keys to our space in Karratha City Plaza for Just You… and what an adventure it’s been.

Over the past 12 months, We’ve poured so much love into creating something truly special. With the help of Salon Dad, Salon Muma, and cousin Nic, we built a beautiful new salon from the ground up. Our walls were brought to life with bespoke artwork by local artist (and salon bestie) Miss Cavo — making the space feel uniquely ours.

We’ve welcomed so many new faces while continuing to care for the clients who have supported Just You over the years. Our little salon has kept growing, evolving, and becoming exactly what it’s meant to be.

There have been big changes too…
Ateas set off on her Eat, Pray, Love adventure of a lifetime.
Isabel stepped into new opportunities here in town.
Abby began her journey with us, learning, growing, and finding her place in the beauty world.
And Amy joined our team, bringing with her the most beautiful facial treatments and exceptional lash artistry.

And then there’s me — Maria.

This past year has taught me so much about family, love, community, and business. Choosing to be here in the Plaza was the right decision for me. Even losing access to our old page became a moment to reflect, reset, and realign with what truly matters.

I feel so grateful to show up here every day — to treat each of you, to hear your stories, and to hold space for those small moments of kindness you give yourselves when you walk through our doors.
