Today with my beautiful friend Faye I attended a march and vigil to honour and remember the 60 women and children in Australia who have lost their lives to domestic violence since January 2025

Standing there was a moving and heartbreaking reminder that these lives are so much more than statistics. Seeing names and ages of some of those victims was heart wrenching . Sixty people — more than one every week — gone at the hands of someone who was supposed to love them.

And that number doesn’t reflect the countless others who are still living in fear tonight. Women and children enduring a daily nightmare, frightened and isolated, unsure where to turn.

60 women and children have lost their lives and who knows how many more are slowly dying on the inside! Walking around each day putting smiles on their faces, staying brave for those around them and their children. Not showing their fear, not showing how they live in fight or flight every single day! Protecting those they love all the while falling apart them selves silently and quietly not allowing anyone to see.

We need to stop asking “Why don’t they leave?”
Instead, we should be asking “Why does someone choose to harm the person they claim to love?”

We need to stop saying why doesn’t she just leave! Because just leaving is the most courages thing these women will do. We need to see good men stand up and call out the bad behaviour of men treating women and children poorly.

I urge you next time you hear your self or some say why doesn’t she just leave. Please ask her instead

“can I help you? Listen with a non judgemental ear. That’s maybe all she needs in that moment and that might just give her the strength she needs to make a courages move.

Today we shared stories, talked about what we can do to be part of the solution, and shed tears for the innocent lives that never had the chance they deserved.

If you are going through this please be kind to your self. You did not deserve this nor is it your fault. It’s a muddy pool that disorentates you. If you can please find the courage to ask for help 🧡
My heart is always open and I will always be an ear to listen.

Discipline, consistency, trust

2026 the year to come is open to be the best yet.

Putting to practice my self mastery tools, discipline, consistency and trusting that the tried and tested processes will deliver the best yet.

Small business is a like a marathon not a sprint. Staying consistent day after day. Pushing through the moments of disbelief and uncomfortable moments will pay off! Is it easy? Not always. Is it fun? Not always. Does it pay off? Absolutely 💯 it does.

It’s like training for a long run. The uncertainty in the beginning, can i actually do it? Trust and believe in your self. When the pain kicks in. And it will! Drawing on your consistency and discipline and learnings will get you through it. If you want the rewards you have to keep going.

This morning I wanted to sit on the deck with a coffee and that would have given me instant happiness for that moment only. Instead I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to do something I didn’t know if I could do.
It hurt, it was hot, I didn’t have my headphones. I could have let all of this derail me easily and chose to go home and have that coffee for instant happiness.
I chose to enjoy the process. Listen to the day in my favourite place, listen to the birds, the ocean, say good morning to passing people. It was slow but steady and that’s ok because that’s where the greatness happiness in life and business. I trusted my ability, trusted my training, consistency and discipline. And it paid off! I got out my head and out of my way and let it happen.

If you have managed to stay with me through all of this post 😜 my point is in life and in small business if you want to see the greatness you have to go the distance. The sweetness happens when you run the marathon not the sprint. We don’t always enjoy the marathon but if you want the results you can’t skip the process.

There is 8 weeks left of 2025 ~time enough to get started to make 2026 your greatest yet. 💛 K
