After a 3 month break from uni, it is good to have submitted the first assessment for the year. We're back Baby!🤣

I read a book once by Andrew Matthews called "Being Happy". One of it's main themes was being open to learning lessons from life.
Today I learned a lesson about communication. So often I hear that men don't communicate. I disagree.
On my morning walk today I met a man that confided in me that he & his wife lost two very young children to illness many years ago. I felt honoured that he trusted & respected me enough to share something so incredibly painful.
So...lesson learned.
Talk less, listen more.
Men will only communicate with you if you have their trust & respect. It's not all about words either. Keep your eyes & ears open.
Break that trust & you will have to work your absolute butt off to regain it, and even then there's no guarantees.
Sometimes the best way to help yourself is to help someone else.
