What started as a leap of faith turned into one of the most rewarding journeys of my life ✨
Hi I’m Jacqueline and almost 15 years ago I went for a hairdressing apprenticeship at nearly 21, with no inkling that this industry would steal my heart.
Working a government job at a young age, I always assumed I’d always work a corporate job, I found it difficult to find my place in the working world when my mother suggested I give hairdressing a go because I’d always had an artistic side - so I did.
Fast forward to today, and I own Matilda The Salon.
Owning a salon like this has always been my dream.
I fully invest myself in this business because I know the power of great hair - it boosts confidence, and can completely change your day. That’s what Matilda The Salon is all about: luxury hair, thoughtful service, and a space where you always feel valued and can unwind.
