Let me take you back nearly 8 years ago.
I had just started my lash course and spent every spare minute practicing. My first set took over 4 hours - no joke. Determined to improve, I offered free lashes to every family member and friend who’d let me try. I must’ve done over 100 sets before I got down to 2 hours and started taking appointments with “strangers”. That’s where it all began - the realisation that if you’re willing to sacrifice time and effort, you can create something special.
From a spare bedroom, to a garage salon my husband built, to another spare room, and finally the salon we have today - I also discovered a love for baking. It started with my son’s birthdays and cookies for clients who trusted me, and with encouragement from those clients, my baking business was born.
What began as a few cookies quickly turned into a business that still amazes me when I look back at how fast it grew.
Then God knew it was Leo’s time. Our precious surprise baby - the biggest silver lining. He forced me to slow down, embrace motherhood, and shift my focus. For the first time, I didn’t feel the pull to return to clients like I had before. And so, Avalia began.
Something that gave our family the ability to move, to scale, and to gain our time back. No more late nights in the salon, no more hours baking, no more trading time for income.
But none of this would’ve been possible without you. The support from our community over the past 8 years shaped me into the strong, determined woman I am today - in the salon, the kitchen, and now here.
So thank you. Truly. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds, and I’m so excited to take you along for the ride 🤍✨

HEY LADIES!!

After some amazing time off with my beautiful boy, and family, I will be back to the salon from the 22nd of April!

Bookings are now open from 4pm to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 10am on Saturdays.

Once we know how Leo is, I will gradually extend the hours of each day! If you need after 5pm, let me know as sometimes the booking system will only show the first available appointment.
