There’s something so special about being trusted to be part of a wedding morning 🤍 I’ll never take for granted the honour of being chosen to help a bride feel her absolute best but it’s even more special when you also get to be there as a guest celebrating right alongside them.

For Courtney’s morning look we did a soft wave to compliment her lace veil and when she changed into her second party dress I suggested since I was there we should change her hair style, she gave me creative freedom to do what I wanted.
We switched it up to a fun, textured bun and I’m OBSESSED with how it came together
The bridesmaid chose their own styles, textured buns and ponytails!
Moments like these are why I love what I do 🤍

She came in for her trial with a beautiful little bob and very fine hair, wanting soft waves… but during our chat she told me her dream had always been to wear her hair up on her wedding day. 🤍
She didn’t think it was possible.
Challenge accepted. ✨

I told her to bring a few extensions and we would make it happen — and when she saw herself… the reaction was EVERYTHING.

“I can’t thank you enough for making my hair dreams come true. I felt a million dollars.”

That right there. That’s why I do this.

To my lovely clients 🤍
I’ve made the decision to further reduce my late-night hours.

Going forward, Monday nights will now finish at 6pm, with Wednesdays also finishing at 6pm.

For clients who are currently booked into later appointments with me (Ashlin), I’ll be in touch to move these appointments to an earlier time. I understand this may mean taking time off work for some clients, similar to appointments with doctors, dentists, or chiropractors that are attended during standard business hours.

Returning to work so soon after having Sonny has come with a lot more emotion than I expected. I didn’t get much maternity leave with my other children, and this time around I’ve really felt the pull and guilt of wanting to be present for these early moments. Reducing my hours slightly is helping me create the balance I need during this stage of life.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but my family will always come first. I know this season won’t last forever, and I’m so grateful for the understanding, kindness, and flexibility you continue to show me 🤍

Will I ever stop obsessing over styling…probably not 🤤

Thank you for pushing me when I want to give up, believing in me even when I don’t believe in myself.

You always put your family first, without hesitation. You are the most hands-on, present, hardworking dad, and the kids and I are so incredibly lucky to have you. Watching you love our children is my greatest blessing.
