A few weeks ago I had the new cool peel laser treatment done at Lush Aesthetics Geelong and here’s how it went 🫶🏽

This was right before treatment with the numbing cream on 🫶🏽

🩷 Straight after treatment 🩷

The treatment itself wasn’t too painful or uncomfortable, just a hot zap like feeling but super bearable and it was over quickly! My skin was very red and a bit stingy for the first few hours post treatment, but the sting settled in the evening.

🩷 Day 1 post treatment 🩷

Woke up with quite red skin, a sort of sun burnt look and feeling. Slightly sensitive after washing it and moisturising for the first time only for about 5-10 minutes. I noticed tiny little brown dots all over the skin which were only really visible up close from the laser. I Moisturised every 3 hours to keep it well hydrated to speed up healing process which felt nice 🙏

🩷 Day 2 post treatment 🩷

The redness started to subside day 2, and the texture of my skin started to feel quite rough like sandpaper. I kept up with moisturising every few hours to keep it well hydrated, and it didn’t feel sore or sensitive anymore 😌

🩷 Day 3 post treatment 🩷

The redness was pretty much fully gone by today! Although I was feeling quite dry and very rough/textured. The little dots started to shed slowly when washing my face, particularly around the nose area

🩷 Day 5 post treatment 🩷

The dead skin continued to shed through day 4 and 5, and could feel fresh soft skin coming through yay! The skin around forehead temples and jawline were the last to shed. It just happened naturally when washing face and moisturising, and I made an effort to be gentle with it 💛

Skin was looking brighter and feeling so smooth 😍 A few dots left still around hairline and temples, but overall complexion looking much better and definitely had a natural ‘glow’ to my skin ✨

🩷 Before treatment 🩷

Over all I noticed;

- clearer complexion
- less pigmentation
- smoother skin
- makeup sitting better

Lastly this is me wearing my makeup for work 3 weeks post treatment, it sits much nicer on my skin and looks a lot more radiant 🫶🏽
