While you can certainly find a cheaper tan, there is often a reason for the difference in price. After 6 years of spraying, I’ve continued to invest in education, refine my techniques & learn more about the products & ingredients that truly support beautiful, healthy-looking skin

There are endless tanning products available at the supermarket, but not all formulas are created equally. Ingredients matter, particularly if you have sensitive skin or specific skin concerns. Your tan should complement your skin — never compromise it

At Diamond Tans, every tan is thoughtfully customised to your skin tone, undertone & desired result. The professional products I use & custom blends I create are designed to help nourish, hydrate & enhance your skin, while giving you that effortless, refined glow 🤎

✨ A Diamond Tans glow can last 7–10+ days when cared for correctly — with daily moisturising & gently patting your skin dry after showering

DHA can naturally be drying to the skin, which is why hydration & aftercare are so important. The goal is never that dry, patchy “tiger bread” effect. It’s a smooth, even, beautifully fading glow that looks & feels luxurious from beginning to end

For the perfect canvas:
• Exfoliate thoroughly the day before your appointment
• Shave or wax at least 24 hours beforehand
• Arrive with clean, product-free skin where possible

To prolong your glow:
• Apply a hydrating moisturiser daily
• Avoid mineral oils such as Petrolatum, Liquid Paraffin and Paraffinum Liquidum
• Choose a gentle body wash without SLS, SLES or ALS to help prevent stripping the colour
• Pat your skin dry rather than rubbing

For the best result, your spray tan should be booked 2 days before your wedding & 2 days before your makeup trial

A few important things to consider when planning your appointments:

✨ Does your MUA prefer your face completely bare for your makeup trial?
✨ Is your spray tan your final beauty appointment?
✨ Have you scheduled hair, nails, brows, waxing or other treatments around your tan?

Your spray tan should be your very last beauty appointment before your wedding — with the obvious exception of anything happening on the wedding day itself 😊

▪︎If you get sunburnt, you should avoid DHA - that is your spray tan & self tan 🙈 I can blend tan lines but DHA will accelerate peeling, even if you are a little pink. So any special occasions, cover up accordingly to avoid not being able to get a tan

💫In saying that, I do stock a solution that is a one night tan. This allows you to be tanned without any DHA & washes away with soap & water & a face wash cloth. This is an on the day spray tan
