After over a decade in the industry, Jessie O’Donoghue fancied introducing Launceston to a refreshed take on hairstyling in a unique space. So in 2016 Jessie created bob, an experience intended to enhance your style and relax your senses. bob inhabits one of Launceston’s oldest buildings with views beyond art deco stained-glass to luscious City Park. The space is raw and simple: recycled elm and oak combined with marble and original concrete to offer you an elegant experience to savour. bob uses Goldwell professional colour in the salon and stocks the full range of Kerasilk and KMS products. All our stylists are highly trained in all colouring a cutting techniques as well as specialising in services such as chemical straightening, Keratin smoothing and tape-in extensions. Together we offer experience, professionalism and creativity to long-time and new clients.

As a full-time apprentice, you will receive on-the-job training and mentorship to develop the skills and expertise required to become a talented qualified stylist.

+Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members.
+A keen eye for detail and a creative flare.
+A positive, enthusiastic attitude.
+Ability to work well in a team environment and able to use initiative to help out when needed.
+Hardworking and most importantly, reliable.
