Beautiful goddess curls all nourished again for Kelly 🧡

this lovely client came for a curly dry cut and explained how she’d asked for layers to give more volume. No volume here just disconnected steps which don’t allow the best of the curls to show and also no volume. This is why we need to train in curly hair cutting and colouring, it’s not the same as straight hair in any way!
This client had a small trim to reconnect the curl pattern and she’s wanting to keep it same length at bottom so we will be patient for the time being and next cut will be gorgeous, even though she’s really happy with her reconnected trim already. I forgot to take an after photo but her partner said she’s super happy and confident in our moving forward appointments.

Spring reset for beautiful Natasha this morning! After time away camping, she was ready to have the up do cut shorter for more body and fullness, gorgeous 🧡

Wow what a beautiful head of hair! Tiny long curls that look like golden chains of curls. I taught Karen how to manage her curls with water soluable products instead of oil based products. Hopefully she’ll get to love her hair and wear her curls out more. The easiest thing previously was to tie it up in a bun.
Charlie came today after having some not good experiences with having his thick curly hair cut in the past. His partner has been to me so he thought he’d give me a try. He was happy to leave looking like himself!
Jasmine chose to have a fringe and some shaping for her beautiful long hair look today, first fringe since she was in primary school! Looks stunning 🤩
Crystal has had her hair short for a while now and she’s wanting to grow back into her curls and longer again. We removed the heaviness of the nape and tweaked the ends all over to encourage and welcome back her curls! 💙
Cathy came for this morning to get her triangle shape sorted! For years she has straightened, had Keratin treatments, now she’s embracing her natural curls. We are now thinking of growing it a bit longer to show off her beautiful curls💛
Jaimee has always had her hair trimmed to one length since she started wearing it curly, today she wanted shape and layering. Fabulous! She said it’s the best haircut she’s had. Knowing how to work with curls is invaluable as a stylist! 🧡
